Adeeb Ahamed

The managing director of LuLu Financial Holdings and the hospitality investor Twenty14 Holdings.

Adeeb Ahamed is the managing director of LuLu Financial Holdings, a Gulf-headquartered money-exchange, remittance and payments group with a network of hundreds of branches across many countries. He also leads Twenty14 Holdings, the group’s hospitality and real-estate investment arm, whose portfolio has included London’s Great Scotland Yard Hotel and Port Muziris in Kochi, India.

Under his leadership the financial-services business has become a significant player in global remittances, handling billions of dollars in annual flows, and he has set out ambitions to grow its share of the international market. He has also led the group’s retail and food-and-beverage interests in India.

Ahamed, who is of Kerala origin and based in the UAE, has been recognised on regional business and “40 under 40” lists and contributes to World Economic Forum and tourism advisory bodies. He is regarded as one of the Gulf’s prominent younger business leaders.
