Raju Menon

Indian-born founder and chairman of the UAE audit and advisory firm Kreston Menon, which he established in 1994 and grew across the Gulf and India.

Raju Menon (full name Rajagopalan Menon) is the founder, chairman and managing partner of Kreston Menon, an audit, accounting and tax-advisory firm based in the United Arab Emirates. An Indian national from Kerala, he qualified as a chartered accountant in India and moved to Dubai in 1991, working for close to a decade at a local firm before building his own practice. The firm he founded in 1994, originally known as Morison Menon, grew into one of the UAE’s established professional-services groups and was rebranded Kreston Menon in 2018 when it joined the global Kreston International network.

Over three decades the firm expanded across the UAE and into markets including India, Qatar and Oman, employing hundreds of chartered accountants and accountancy professionals. Menon served as chairman of the Dubai Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, to which he was elected in 2014, and has been listed among Forbes Middle East’s Top 100 Leaders in the Arab World. In 2022 he published an autobiography, “The View From My Perch,” launched at the Sharjah International Book Fair.

Beyond business, Menon co-founded the CA Girija & CA Raju Menon Foundation with his wife, Girija Menon, in Kozhikode, Kerala, supporting education, healthcare and skills training for women. He was also an early supporter of Dubai’s successful bid to host Expo 2020.
