Shaji Ul Mulk
The founder of Sharjah-based Mulk Holdings, best known for the Alubond composite-panel brand.
Shaji Ul Mulk arrived in the UAE in 1982 and, after early ventures, established Mulk Holdings in 1995, consolidating his businesses into a diversified conglomerate based in Sharjah’s Hamriyah Free Zone. The group spans building and composite materials, real estate, healthcare, plastics and solar energy, and is best known for its Alubond aluminium-composite-panel brand, which operates across many countries.
Beyond manufacturing, Mulk founded the T10 cricket format and organises T10 leagues through his sports-management business, and has pursued large international projects including a technology-park development in Zimbabwe. He is a regular presence on the Gulf’s rich and power lists for Indian business leaders.
He chairs the Mulk Foundation, the group’s corporate-social-responsibility arm, which supports free medical clinics, libraries, care for children with disabilities and marriage-assistance programmes in the UAE and India. He remains founder and chairman of the group.
